The West End of Richmond is the highest-density golf customer base in the region. The Country Club of Virginia, Hermitage, Belmont, Stonehenge. every direction lands you on a course. Mulligan's anchors the western end of the West End. Mulligan's has been a Richmond shop since 1989, owned since 2008 by Jay Canada and Matt Rutherford, two J.R. Tucker High School golf alumni who know every course in this part of town.
There are exactly three places to get fit for clubs in the West End: PGA TOUR Superstore Short Pump (indoor net), Golf Galaxy Glen Allen (indoor simulators), and Mulligan's (outdoor, open air on the Bogey's range with Trackman). For golfers who play this season's courses in real Virginia weather, the answer is outside.
